June 16, 2025 update: Check out FMR's post-session legislative roundup to see how this and other priorities fared.

We're rapidly approaching the end of this year's legislative session, and these final days are a critical time. Right now, funding that would benefit drinking water, wildlife and public health is at risk of not being passed before the May 19 deadline.

The Omnibus Legacy Finance Bill invests nearly $777 million in Minnesota's outdoor heritage, clean water, parks and trails, and arts and culture. Of this, more than $300 million would go specifically toward restoring Minnesota's rivers, lakes, streams and groundwater.

The clock is winding down and legislators are quickly running out of time to pass this bill.

This is where your support can make a difference.

Please take a moment to send a message to your legislators and the governor. Urge them to approve the Omnibus Legacy Finance Bill (HF 2563) by May 19. Clean, healthy water depends on this funding.
